DR. McMURRAY'S CASE DISMISSED
The indictment for manalaugbter against Dr. B. O. McMurray of Francesville, was dismissed on Saturday of last week, at Winamao, The motion to nolle pros the indictment was made by F. J. Vurpillat, as a special deputy prosecuting attorney, in a long statement; and the motion was vigorously opposed by Charles Hanna, the regular deputy prosecutor, and who is a brother of Mrs. McClellan whose death was the cause of the indictment. It was contended by Vurpillat that her death was unavoidable, and that the use of instruments during her confinement was a naoeisary and propar act, as the only hope of saving her life. One or two bright steady girls, living in town, might find emplpyI ment at type-oet:ing end other work, at this office.
