No Change In Southern Representation.
Washington D. O. Deo, 17—Re presentative E. D. Orumpaoker, of Indiana, after conferring with the president and prominent leaders of bo h tae house and senate on his cherished plan of rednoing representation in the southern states in congress, has given up the fight f«r this session. He will leave for Indiana tomorrow, firmly oonvinoed that he has done everything practicable to promote his favorable project, but confident that farther effort will be fatile. It is understood that Judge Orumpaoker did not get the support he had expeoted from the president.
