About tue queerest law suit ever filed in Jasper county is one in whioh Jasper Guy, the well known Remington attorney, is the plaintiff, and Josephine Gay, bis wife, is the defendant. Aside from the unusual fact of a husband saint his wife for damages, a strange* feature still of this suit is that i gives no grounds at all upon whiot it is based. The complaint is ut terly blank. It gives merely th* title of the suit then ends with tb declaration that “wherefore tb plaintiff demands damages in the sum of SIO,OOO ”, The right t amend the complaint is reserved This mysterious suit has oauser a great deal of onriosity among the acquaintances of the par ties at Remington, and a goo* deal of sp9onlation as to the reas ons why it was instituted, ant what if any oiuses of notion will be alleged, when the oomplaint is amended.
