The enormous taek of constructing the new yards at South Ham* mond wbiob was undertaken by tbe Monon is about completed. Tbe real work on tbe yards is now finished and the round bouse is a'must completed Tbe regular opening of tbe yards will not oocur uatil about tbe first of tbe year but the work is gradually being increased until tbe full capacity of the yards reached Three switch engines are now in use and between two and three hundred onrs are handled every day.—Hammond Tribune.
