DEATH OF THOMAS MURPHY.

Thomas Murphy, whose sickness has several times been mentioned, died Monday, Deo. sth, soon after one o’olook p, m,, at his home on Vine street, fie was an old resident of the vioinity of Surrey. The cause of his death was a ohronio kidney disease and resulting in dropsy. He was in his usual condition during the forenoon, and was even up a little; and his death oame very suddenly and easily, fie was about 75 to 80 years old.
