They touch the interests of every taxpayer, for in them the grent mass of our citix ne get their only eduoat on, whi e a very sna 1 fraotion of the population ever see tbe inside of a college or Univer-ity. If it is true that tbe common B'-eoo-'s are being neglected in order to “make a spread” of our higher education, it is time the taxpayers should be getting in touch with tbe legiela ture and have a word to say about the appropriations and: levies.
