BOSS’S AUTO ARRIVES.
F. A. Ross’s new automobile, a Creatmobile by name, recently described io this paper, arrived from Chicago yesterday afternoon. It is do dissappointmeat so far as appearances go,being a veay baod--1 some maohine. Its color is a very dark green. Owing to the fact that it was very poorly boxed it suffered some damage ia transit, the front tires both having been rubbed badly, aod some screws having been shaken loose and tost, bat it will probably be in running order in a day or two. Mr. Ross’s , brother“Philosopber* at Phendigs’ had prepared to give him quite a reception at the depot when he arrived with the maohine, laving had banners and cards prepared tor the “Oreetmobile Club,” and arrangements to me t him with the Washburn aod Toompson auto’s g»ily decora*ed, but Mr fioss proved too foxy for their scheme, aod got the joke on the jokers by having them informed that he would not Brrive with the auto until the late night train. And so the Philosophers missed him and had all their preparations for nothing.
