TO TAKE A CINCH IN THE NICHOLSON LAW.
At the ocmirg session of the legislature steps will be tbken by temperance people of the atde to secure a tightening up of the Niobolson law. It is evident that the temperance pecple are tiled of of remonstiating time and again. Thev desire the law amended so that the man intending to start a saloon mnet first get the signatures cf a majority of the residents of a township or ward. Under the law as it is today, the temperanoe people mast get up a remonstrance. They want the saloon man to take his turn at the woik, for a while.
