Pat O'DjntwH l , of Chicago, the ex-Carroll county man so well known here, got tola final discharge from court last Saturday. He waa tried for jury bribing about two years, oenvioted after a long and very expeneive trial. He *ecured a new trial and was finally released last Saturday, by Jndge Haueoy, on habeas oorptrs proaeedings.' He was released on a mere technicality, the point being that his oase had beenoontiDU- dover more terms of oourt tban tbe constitution of tbe etate permitted. Tbe acqn ttal is therefore by no means a vindication.
