DAUGHTERS CLOSE CONFERENCE
Indianapolis, Nov. 10.—The closing session of the state conference of the national society of the .Daughters of the Amerioan Revolution. was held at the Propylaeum' today. Mrs. Charles W. Fairbanks president of the society, complained that the insignia of the society was being belittled by its use by others than members of , be order. Resolutions were passad protest ing against the improper use of the badge. A resolution was passed appoint in* Mrs. Eliza G. Browning, state historian. Mrs. James M. Fowler cf*L if iyette. was re-elected regent: Mrs. R. 8. Robertson, of Fort Wayne, vice regen*; Mrs. W. W. Hawley, of Huntington, treasurer, |ind aocordiog to the custom of electing the secretary from the oity where the next convention is to be held, Miss Virginia Goodwin of Jeffersonville, wee chosen for that place.
