TUESDAY Miss M. 8. Phelps of Monon oam' today to visit Miss Ella Watson, for a few days. Mrs. Charles Bill and eon and M 193 L ndi Divia, from Wabash are here visiting Mrs.'Jesse Bill for a fe w weeks. Judge Hanley went over to Kent'and Tuesday afternoon to finish up the October term of the Newton circuit cjurl. Mias Irene Lutz who hiis been 'visiting her sister Mrs. A. D. Biokford, at Ooloredo Springs arrived home yesterday afternoon. Mrs. 0. B. Harrold returned tc her home in Hammond Monday after visiting her father 8. «C. A four year old son of Lon Wood, 7 miles east of town, fell from a buggy Saturday, and sustained a bad fracture of the right arm, at the elbow. A Rensselaer physician gave the necessary surgical attendance. Mrs. Etta Nichols, wife of Charles Nichols, who went to Oklahoma, a few months ago, and as was reported, after a separation from her husband and with intention to remain there, arrived home last night and has rejoined her husband.

Halloween tricks here last night were of a very mild and harmless oharaoter.
