A FATAL ACCIDENT IN ARIZONA.
Mrs 8. U. Dobbins, wife of the landlord of the Nowels house. has reoeived a copy of the Oliftop, Arizona, Copper Era, giving details of an aooident whioh resulted iu the death of her son-in-law, O. D. Webb, of Clifton. He wis out hauting in a very rough regi n of tbe mountains, on September 23rd, and was riding on a rou'e with his leaded shot guu oarried across the saddle. Tbe mole objected to going over a specially rough place and while trying to to compel tbe mole Mr. Webb’s gun fell off and was fired when it etrook the ground. Tbe charge entered the baok of Mr. Webb’s neok and head, killing him instaatly. A young man named Harrv Mure ton was with him, and he ataited to ride down tbe oanyoo, to procure help to oarry borne Webb’s body, but the way was impassible for a horse, and be had to go on foot a long distance. It was therefore two days before tbe body ooold be resouel. Mrs. W«ob was at Stn Diego, Cal, at tbe time and did not reaob home nntil her husband was buried. Sbe was Miss Prank Dyer, before her marriage.
