Jacob Prinki was hanged at Greensburg, Pa., for the murder of W. J. Kelsey of East Charleroi. Milwaukee was chosen as the meeting place for 1906 by the ninth biennial convention of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen. Col. James A. Brown, former treasurer of the People’s Savings Bank at Stonnlgton, Conn., pleaded guilty to four counts of making false entries in the bank books, covering up an alleged shortage of <20,000. Sentence was deferred.
