DOUBTLESS A SUICIDE.
The Body of a Man Found Tuesday in Union Township Tues lay about noon .Kmei Cox who is on ore of Judge Thompson’s farina, about md-JS southeast of Fair Oaks, found the vr-iy baaly dec >mp >sed body of a man lying i i the angle b tween two riokeif bay. The body was evidently that of a young man, though the features were unrecognix ible. A four chambered revol. ver lay between lis lege, and a ho e in tl e head, probably made by a bullet, showed that it was doubtless a case of eutoide
The bole in the temple might, however, bevt been nude by insects. Bis hand was on the level ver, and the hammer was la'sed as though he was about to aboot again. A handkerchief was around bis head, and other handkerchiefs were on the ground He reclined against the haystack in a comfortable position. The only articles on the body, were a pocket b iok with no money, a silver watch and a knife. In the pocket book was an empty envelope addressed to Neil W B iriun. who is the foreman on the Duffy, ranch, northwest of Fair Oaks, and the" envelope was one mailed to Mr. Bur.on by bis brother, at Great Falk, Mont., and which shows by the postmark that i< reached Fair Oaks on Sept. Ist. There is some nesrly illegible writing on the inside of the tnve lope, which it is hoped to decipher and thus perhaps lead to the mau’e identification. It seems likely that he found tbe envelope where Mr. Barton had thrown it away and be cairied it to have to write on. John H<e«, stoe keeper of Lake Village, is fearing that it migm be his brother-in-law Billy Myers, who has te?n missing but for only 2 weeks however and all wbosaw this b< dy'are cmfident he Latibieu dead six weeks or moie.
