PERRY WASHBURNE FOR ROOSVELT
That fine citizen and leading Democrat of Benton, whose home is a few miles south of Kentland, P?rry Washburn, and father of A. D, Washburn of our city has left the Democratic party, and is supporting Roosevelt and Fairbanks. Hi has always been a man of great prominence and influence in hiti party, and not many years ago we s their candidate for state senate rin this district. Concerning hit change of political views the Kent land Enterprise says: We learn with''much pleasure thi it Mr- Peiry Washburn of Bentoi county has left the party of op losition and joined the ranks of Rc oseveli and Fairbanks. Mr. Washburn is als ) a sincere admirer of Roosevelt, and that no doubt also influ jnced him to cast his vote for the Republican nominee.
