That fine citizen and leading Democrat of Benton, whose home is a few miles south of Kentland, P?rry Washburn, and father of A. D, Washburn of our city has left the Democratic party, and is supporting Roosevelt and Fairbanks. Hi has always been a man of great prominence and influence in hiti party, and not many years ago we s their candidate for state senate rin this district.
