IROQUOIS DITCH VENUED AGAIN.
The two oases against the construction of the Iroquois ditch have been given another oha lge of venue. They were sent from here to the Newton oirouit oourt, and now they are ohaoged again to White oonnty. It is stated that this ohange was taken by the fxiendeof the ditob, on aooonnt of the supposed hostility to the improvement felt by the Newton oonuty people along the Iroquois river, that it was not thought safe to try the case in that ocnnty. The case was therefore sent to White oounty. Inasmuch as the engineer and all the viewers live in White oonn ty, that faot may, very likely oause still another ohange, to be taken by the remonstrators Evidently the oonstrnotion of the ditoh is still far in the futnre unless a compromise oan be effeoted with Mr. Gifford and the railroad company, to induoe them to withdraw their opposition.
