'THEM'S ARE OUR SENTIMENTS TU'

The State Supreme oourt handed down a decision Thursday in which it was held that notes and securities of a non resident held permanently by an agent in this State is taxable in the State, The property in question was held by James Buck of La. fayette as seourity for loans advanced by a New York man to a resident of Ohio and they had been plaoed on the tax duplicate by the county authorities of Tippeoanoe county. The amount in controversy was $36,357.71 taxes on more than $300,000 for nine years.
