Squatters to Show Fjght.

State Auditor Sherrick has made the anncuncement that he will sell the meandered lands of the state in the Kankakee region at publio auction on Oot. 22, These lands are now in the possession of squatters, who are determined to resist at the point of arms, if neoessary, any attempt to forcibly eject tnem frcm the land which they have occupied fjr a number of years. The deter, mined action on the part of the squatters, it is feared, will lead to serious consequences.
