The city treasurer reported balanoee as follows: Corporation fund $453 20 Eleotrio light fond 10.82 Light improvement fund 18.84 Public 1 ark fund 11,94 Road surd 103.48 Water fund 588,17 A motion to order a cement walk on the east tide of Division street, from Rutsen street soctb, WBB lost. A sidewalk was Soott s reet from Cherry to Elm. Some slight rep irs were ordered on Mskem self and Division and Soott street sewers. The proposed short sewer on Dayton and Weston streets, north of Makemself, was dismissed. The City Engineer, who was previously directed to ascertain the legal width of Graoe street, cr account of a recent petition for a sidtwalk, reported that for the most paJt it is only 40 feet wide, though in front of Granville Moody’s place it is 50 fret. The in suranoe on the bcilers at the oity power house was renewed, with the Hartford Steam Boiler Insurance Compauy, Some 43 claims were examined and allowed.
