Road Beds We have provided that the read beds of each branch of said improvement shall be constructed as follows: All grades shall be of the width of twenty four (24) feet, excepting whore the width of the highway between fences will not admit of such a grade, in which cases the grade shall be made as wide as can be constructed within the line of fences. All said grades shall be made at all points excepting whereinafter specifically required to be changed, of the present general level in the center and to have a fall from the center line to the outer edge of one half inch to each foot. ■ , (Said grades as now constructed will require but little work to make them conform to above requirements, so little that, we have deemed it unnecessary to incur the expense of showing more specifically the work required ) The specific changes from the general re., quirements as to grade above set out are as follows: On “Independence Road.” At station 35 cut one foot and grade , ! 0 feei each way, carrying earth north tor fill , 50 cubic yards. At stake 84 cut one foot, grade 75 feet each way, carrying earth north and south for fill, 70 cubic yards, (highway only 30 feet wide.) At stake 91cut one foot, grade 50 ft each way carrying earth north and south for fill, 50 cu yards. At stake 99 to 100. cut one foot, carrying earth South to fill, 100 cu yds. i At stake 100 plus 70 cut One foot, grade 25 ft each way, carrying earth North for fill, 25, cu yds. At stake 116 plus 43, cut one foot grade 26 ft each way, carrying earth North to fill, 28 cn yds | At stake 141 grade down on west side carry-1 lng South to fill, 26 cu yds. We find that the material to be used in the construction of the Improvement shall be as follows: Fit Gravel free from stones over 8 inches in diameter and free from loam or other deIrterious nabtfteoree. with not to exceed 20 per ceni of clay and equal in quality to the Gravel contained in the present pit, known as the "Bargett” pit, located on the North East Quarter of the North Wert Quarter of section
