ROUTE OF THE NEW ROUTE.

Rural Route No. 4, which starts Nov. Ist, with Harry B. Murray as carrier, will go out of town on Me Coy Avenue to the Sparling road, on which it goes south to the Putts school house. It then goes west and south past the Phegley, Biggs and Hoover pieces, crossing the Hoover bridge over the Big Slough, and on south to the Hoover corners Then east sos a mile to the College gravel road, end then south to the Wm. Iliff corners, in Jordan township. Thence east to Lawndale school house; north a mile to Waymire’s corners, Jthen east two miles thru Sharon and to Queen City school hous?, in Milroy Tp. north.' a mile to Hibler’s corner, west to Pollard corner, north to Moffit corner, west to Peters’ corner, south to Slaughter school house, west to Adams corner, north | mile, west to gravel road, north to Pierce corner east to Ed Bruce corner, west | mile, thence north to the Oscar Hauler corner, thence west to the James Welch Corner, thence, if the carriers head is’nt twisted off by that time, on into town, after several more turns, over the new bridge to the east gravel road at the the Jud Perkins and G. P. Daughterly residences. It is probably the champion crooked rural route of Indiana but it gets the people it goes after. In fact only misses two or three families in the whole region it surrounds. It also leaves room for another route out from McCoysburg.
