MAKEEVER-GRANT WEDDING.

There was a quiet wedding in town Friday evening, Sept. 23rd, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm 8. Coen, on Forest street. The parties were Mr. Garland Grant, son of Alton Grant and Miss Jesse G. Makeever, youngest daughter of the late Madison Makeever and Mrs. Coen. The ceremony was performed at eight o’clock, by Rev. J. M. Elam, in the presence of only the members of the two families, including Jesse and Emerson Coen, step brother and half brother respectively of the bride, from Chicago, The newly married oouple will make their homo on the Alton Grant farm just west of town. The ring ceremony was used at the wedding, and after it was over elegant refreshments were served. Birdsell wagons steel or oast skein at Warner Bros.
