A dispatch from Lafayette says; — A head.end collision between extra freight No. 203 and switch engine No. 62 in the Monon railway yards here tonight wrecked both engines, destroyed ten freight oars and in. jured one person, Frank Gillard, fireman on the extra, jumped when he saw the crash was imminent and was badly bruised. Engineer Harry Myers on engine 203 declares he was given no orders against the yerd engine, this causing the wreok. Traffic was resumed shortly after midnight, > ,
