Charley Chamberlain’s Bad Fall.

Charles Chamberlain, superintendent of the Rensselaer oity light and water system, nut with a severe and very painful aooident last Tuesday morning while engaged in the duties of bis position and one whioh he was very lucky was no worse. He w>>B pp near the top of a tall pole, near Hmry Watson’s place, east of the depot, when the pale broke near the ground, and poles, wires, Chamber lain and all, oame to the groond together. He struoa on his feet, but the cross bar struok him ou the right leg above the knee, outting a jagged hole, about two inohes dear to the bone in dspth. His heel was also badly braised. His injaries will interfere with his walking for some time, bnt he was out in a buggy looking after his work, within two hour after it happened. The distance he fell was about 25 feet.
