The bond of the treasurer is signed by Lba Eger, Warren Robinson. Granville Moody, and Lnoins Strong. It was voted that no more street lights be installed nntil tb# oity finances are in better shapes The aewei petition of L Clark' and others was dismissed.
The tax levy for tb6 ensuing year was fixed at the following rates 09 the SIOO taxable property: Road fund....... 30b Corporation fund 30b Sinking fund fc Special Additional fund...... la Water works fund 15b Electric light fund 15b Speoial school fund ..40b Tuition fund 35m Light improvement fund......15b Public park fund la These are all the same as last year, but it is probab'e soma changes will be made, as some of the school levies will probably ba made larger, aud in that case, a oorreepoudiug reduction ia soma other funds. The public library levy is fixed by the library board, and will probably be 10 cents. Some 27 miscellaneous olaime were examined and allowed.
