Lafayetters Will Appeal.
I Tbe Lafayette c editors in the I MoCoy casis intend, seemingly, to make bll the del«y and expense they can in tbe ee tlencent of the oases. Ttey have thus given notioe of intention to appeal from the eleotion of J. H Chapman, as trustee. The ground* on which they intend to sppetl are because Mr. Chepman himself is a oreditor; also that he voted for himself for trustee, on power of attorney from other creditors, Also, ns asserted because be has certain business relations with parties who are allege ed to have adverse interest to tbe creditors. There wou’d seem to be mighty little if any merit in any of these objections. The appeal will be to Judge Anderson end they have 10 days in whiob to fi'e their brief, and the trustees will then have 10 more in whioh to file his reply. What the Lafayette creditors will do after that, if Judge Anderson decides against them, is nnoertain. Bat the attorneys talked llMe they would carry tbe oase still higher in the U. S. courte. Though their appeal talk may all ta n out to h ave been mere bluff.
