FIRE AT FOWLER.
! The elevator owned by the by the Fowler Grain 00., at Fowler and its contents were destroyed by a fire that started yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Oars were being loaded at the time the fire was discovered. The dimes started on the inside and near the top of the building, and it is presumed that the fire was oaused by a hot box. The elevator contain ed three oar loads of oats and one of corn. [Everything in connection with (the building was destroyed, but the flames were prevented from spreading. The lose Is partially oovered by insurance. Delos Thompson and J. J. Montgomery, of this place, were among the spectators at the fire. They were on their way home from Boswell, in Dr. Washburn’s automobile! and when out of Fowler about two miles, heard the bells ringing and went baok to see the blaze.
