Monroe Banes and family are at Monon today, where the family will visit relatives for several weeks, but Mr- Banes will go on to South Bend, their future home, tomorrow, Woloott Enterprise:— A few weeks ago a man named Parker was here working up subsoriptioDS for •Collars weekly, but it seemed from ■developments, the money went into his own jeans. He is now in jail in LaFayette awaiting „ trial on the oh&rge preferred by Colliers, who •will refund to anyone defrauded by the fellow. Mrs. Maude Lilly Reed, now of Woloott was given a divorce at Montioello this week from Nate J. the ex-sheriff, of Jasper oounty and now the ex-husband. Remington Press: Rev. and Mrs. Postill left Monday to attend annual Conference of the M. E. oburoh at Terre Haute. Thus not only will Robinson’s oarnival be here on Sept 19th, bat Bipes’ pony, dog and monkey show is to be here that day, also The company has rented the usual oirou9 ground in A. Leopold’s addition. Tnie show is owned in Kokomo and is said to be a big one of its kind.

Sam H. Joseph, theeldwrly but active advanoe agent of Robinson Amusement Company was in town today, doing m ire business than a, oraiberrv merchant. He has been in Rensselaer before, having been agent for the old John Ftobinson show years ago Mayor Ellis knows him well and Uaole Abi L6ipold and other of our old residents also. The entire attendance of students at St Joeeph’e College, including the resident or religious students is now 143 which is 30 more than ever before. Mr. and Mrs. Barton Wright, cf Woodstock, 111., are visiting Mr. and Mrs- A. Parkison for a few days.
