Funeral of Mrs. W. H. Churchill.
The funsral of Mrs. Louis* Churchill, wife of Squire Wm. JEL Ohurohill, was held Sunday, Sept. 11th, at her late home, north of the railroad. The servioes were held at four p. m, having been deferred nntil that hoar, in hopee certain relatives from Ohio would arrive which however they failed to do, The religion* eervioes were eondnoted by Rev. A. G. Work, and were quite largely attendedinterment was in Weston cemetery. Mrs. ChurohilTs maiden umr was Louisa Niohols, and she wa* born in Lioking 00., Ohio, Jaff. 12tb, 1835, and died in Rensselaer, lnd., Bept Bth, 1904, at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 26 days. The cause of her death was an In, ternal cancer and her siokness wa* long and very painful. She was married to Wm. E. Ohurohill in Jan. 1861, and moved to Jas per county in 1859, and which has been her home ever sinoe, and nntil two years ago, when she moved io town, on th* old Ohurohill farm, two mile* northwest of Rensselaer. She wa* the mother of eight ohildren all sons, one of whom died in infancy, bat the others all survive her, and with their father, were present at the funeral. They are Wm. A. Ohurohill. of Rensselaer, Maron* A, of Randall, Minn; Thomas Ci* of Siloam Springs, Ark.; Fenton, O, of Rensselaer; Lather E„ of Belgrade, Neb.; Marion A, of Randall, Minn,, and Herman EL of Rensselaer. She joined the United Brethem ohnroh at the age of 16 years aaid remained a faithful Christian believer nntil her death.
