Thinks Party Is Progressing.

F. D. Craig, of Indianapolis, former editor of a populist paper, the People’s Pilot, here was in town Saturday, on a political mission. He is still an ardent People’s Party man, and was here in the interests of the state convention of that party to be held at Indianapolis next Thursday, Sept. 15th. He says it will be a rousing big oon. vention and that Jasper County will be fully represented, the ooonty being entitled to eight delegates. He says further and his statement is only a confirmation of what was already plainly evident that there is a big revolt right here in Jasper oounty among the old Peoples’s Party Democrats against the D. B. Hill and Wall street tioket, and that the People’s party) tioket will receive a large vote in this oonnty. Mr. Craig is still keeping a large rooming house on Washington street, about a blook east from the oourt house, had, and whioh we again 'reoommend to the patronage of Jasper oounty people, for we are confident that Mr. Craig and his estimable wife are keeping an excellent plaoe and will be especially glad of the patronage of their old friends of Jasper oounty. During Carnival week John Eger will have on sale, two oar loads of Miohigan Peaches
