Mrs. J. M. Troxell made her expected move to DdMotte last week and is now in charge of their hotel and boarding bouse, there Tbe Squire helped her move and bas now returned to look after the business of his offioe. Mrs. W. S. Parks sold a gray driving team at auotion, Saturday afternoon. It was purohased by Tuns. McDonald, at $l7B. She also sold her family carriage, which was 1 bought by Chas Burbage, for $32. The entire attendance of students at St Joeeph’e College, including the resident or religious students is now 143 which is 30 more than ever before. The entire number of people at the institution is now an even 200 all t old.

Mr. and Mrs. Barton Wright, cf Woodstock, 111., are visiting Mr. and Mrs- A. Parkison for a few days. They met and beoame well acquainted in California las winter and the present visit is a result of the friendship then established. Mr. Wright is an old tims Rapablioan and has vuted for every Republican Candida e from Fremont dear down, and will put in one for Roosevelt in November.
