It was a clean show, free from all vulgarity, fakirs, shell games or other forms oi gambling: The parade created a very favorable impression and had much to do with drawing a large attendance The mengerie contained many valuabl- speoim ns of animals from the jungle and we dt. The hippopotamus created much wonderment as it is the only one exhibited in Canada for many years, and was perhaps tbe only living specimen ever seen by nearly every visitor to tbe show. It h only three years old, but a sturdy baby'for all. The performances were sti ctly high class, clean and commendable. Both afternoon and evening performances were well patronized. It is safe to bay that Gollmar Bros have done much to demonstrate how a circus may be clean, instructive, and entertaining.
