An Abunlant Rainfall.
The long drouth was broken cnrpletely when it was broken at all. The rains which began here enrly Friday morning, «nd oontinned slowly all day and far in'o the night, were very wide spread and covered many states. Here the total rainfall, up to 7 o’clock this morning was 89 hundredths of an inob; or practic-dly nine tenths. As it came very slowly and steadily it all soaked into the ground and went where it will do the most good. « It is ample for the present crop purposes, and will do the corn ail the good that rain oan now do it, and will very much improve the prospects for a crop. As for the extensive encumber crop in the northern part of the county, it will be its salvation. It wild also pot pastures iu fine shape for some time to come.
