The Champion Big Pile of Oats.

So far the Btrickfaden & Harmon 110 acres field of oats, yielding 60 bushels to the acre retains the state championship for largest yield to the aore. And now we enter another Jasper county oats crop for another championship. It is far the largest number of bushels raised by any one person. Walter V. Porter, on the McCoy & Porter ranoh in Jordau Tp., has raised between 15,000 and 16.000, bushels. The acreage was 500 acres, and the yield about 30 bushels to the aore, or a little above that.
