SUICIDE NEAR ROSE LAWN
Frank Burley Ends Bis Life By The Rope Route. A man named Frank Harley committed suicide Sunday, on one of the Otis ranches, about two miles east of Rose Lawn, and just over the Jasper county line in Newton oonnty. His home has been in Cbioago but he formerly worked on this Otis ranoti, and came there Saturday, for a visit, Saturday night he slept in the barn, and Sunday forenoon went out into a grove near the house, and went to sleep; being seen there asleep at about 11 o’olook. He han been drinking considerably, it is stated. At about 5 o’clock Sunday afternoon his dead body was found hanging to a limb of a tree in the grove. He had evidently been dead about two hours. He left m his pocket a card with a Chicago address on it written with a stick. Up to this Monday morning, no answer oould be obtained from telegrams to the address. He was about 35 years old, and had a wife and children, but had been separated from his family. His parents are also said to be living and he has a brother on the Chioago police force. None of these - had been looated at latest reports received.
