Death of Mrs. J. W. Smith.

Mrs. Emma Smith, wife of John W. Smith died this Thursday morning, Aug. 11th, 1904, at the present family home on the Wm. Haley farm, miles southeast of town. She had been sick about 6 or 8 months, with consumption; and her age was about 48 years. She leaves a husband and nine children, 3 sons and six daughters, the youngest being 7 years old. The funeral will be held Friday, and interment made in the Benson cemetery, in Milroy township or at Brook
