Epidemic of Smallpox.

Dr. J. N, Hurty, secretary of the state board of health, has been notified that smallpox in a virulent form has appeared in Blackford, Elkhart, Grant and Wabash counties. Thus far there have been no deaths, but several of the oases are considered very serious. Near Liuoolnville, Wabash oounty, four members of one family are not expeoted to live.
