The Ditch Bonds Sold.
The bond foi tue oonstruotion of three ditches, two of them quite large ones, were sold by the oounty auditor and treasurer, Friday afternoon. They were for the Garrison Ditob, $20,000 amount; the Moffit ditoh $15,000 and the Bums ditoh, $3,000. All were bought by the Erie County Banking Uo., of Vermillion. Ohio; of which oar townsman, Edward G. Coen, is manager, and who was present,and made the bids. The bonds draw six per cent, interest and sold praotioally at par; the total premium being only $45 on the entire amount, of $38,000, There were three other bidders but Mr. Coen’s bid was a little better than any of the others.
