Medical Society Meeting.

The Jasper and Newton County Medioal Association held a regular bi-monthly meeting here Tuesday afternoon and evening. The visiting pbysioians wereDrs. Potbuisje, Landon and Besser, from Rsmitigton; Kennedy, Pratt and Kinne man from Goodland, and Merry from Mt. Ayr. All the Rensselaer physioian, who are members attended, except Dr, Miller. Dr. Bertram W. Sippy, professor of medioine in Rush Medioal College, Chicago, leotnred at both the afternoon and evening sessions. In the afternoon his subjects were diseases of the lungs and stomaoh having a lung patient before ihim. In the evening his snbjeot was largely gall stones. The next meeting will be at Goodland, on Ootober 4th.
