Suicide at Cedar Lake.

A young Chicago man uum d Otto Geriaber committed suicide Saturday night at Cedbr Lake, under eemational oircumstanoes. He was a member of a big excursion company of eleotiial workers and had been at Cedar Lake all day, and by all accounts had been drinking heavily. A dance was going on at the pavilion at the east side of the lake, at the time. Geriaber shot himself in the breast while sitting in a seat outside the pavilion, and not on the dancing floor, as has Joeen generally published. Besides the effect of the liquor he had drant, he' also seems to have taken great offense at his brother and eome others, for taking his girl away from him, or as he imagined they had. The girl aho is said to have tamed him down and refused to danoe with him. After he shot himself, his body was taken across the lake and for want of a better place was placed in a horse stall in a stable, the horse being turned out for that purpose, The dance went on just the same.
