Wall Street fell out with Roosevelt when he instituted the merger suits, and again when he brought about a settlement of the anthracite coal strike. Those speculators said he should not be renominated, but they failed to have their way. They next demanded the nomination of Parker, and their demand was heeded, and the people are yet to be heard from.—Seymour Republican,
