Another Ruction in Home Finding Association

Thore. has been another of the periodic outbreaks in the Children’s Home Finding Association, of Chicago, an- institution well known in Rensselaer. The organizer and former president, now field secretary, Geo. O. Hoover, seems to have been as usual the cause of this troublq. A legacy of SI,OOO was left to the association and Hoover claimed half of it, on the contract whereby he received 50 per cent, of alt the money he secures for the association. As the same party had left SI,OOO to another children’s aid society, it was considered that Hoover was not entitled to his per cent, on the legacy to his institution; and the decision was against him.

The matter raised such a row that Gen, Green B. Raum, the president of the association, and several of the directors have resigned. This is about the third or fourth time this association has been torn all to pieces by troubles of this kind.
