A Special Train For California.
Any persons in Rensselaer or vicinity desiring to make the CaEfornia trip under unusually pleasant and economical conditions, can find their opportunity by joining the special train to be run from Hammond, this state, by Hammond Oommandry, Knights Templars. No one needs to be a Knight Templar nor even a Mason nor member of a Mason's family to go with the party. A special train of Pullman cars has been chartered which will be used by the party all the way out and back, and during all the stops except four days spent in San Francisco. The entire cost of the trip, including sleeping oar berths will be S9O, this including a free side trip from Los Angelos to Santa Catalina Islands. It does not include hotel expenses, nor meals, but lunch baskets can be carried and free coffee will always be on tap on the train. The train will leave Chicago at 9 p. m. August 31st and arrive back on Sept. 16th, Any of our readers thinking they would like to make this great trip can learn more about it by writing to the chairman of the pilgrimage committee at Hammond, addressing the letter to H. E. Sharrer, chairman, Hammond, Ind.
