School Fund Apportionment
The apportionment of the oommon school revenue for tuition, which has been completed by State Superintendent F. A. Cotton, shows that there will be divided among the oounties of the state for sohool expenses during the next six months $1,168,370.50, with a balance remaining in the treasury for a reserve fund cf $24,112.40. The number of school children in the state between the ages cf six and tyyenty-one, on whioh the apportionment is based, is 768,665. The amount derived from the state sohool tax is $998,001.01, and the interest collected on the oomuion sohool fund since the last apportionment, $192,411 - 87. The amount derived from unclaimed fees and all other sources is $2,040.3 1. The per capita apportionment is $1.25.
