One of the most interesting exhibits among tbe many' of all kinds at tbe Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis is that of the Winchester Repeating Arms Company, of New Haven, Conn., manufacturers of repeating rifles and shotguns and all kinds of ammunition. The exhibit was in readiness and was opened on tbe first day of the fair, a fact that clearly Illustrates the enterprise and up-to-date methods of the company behind it It is the aim of the Winchester Repeating Arms Company to show at their exhibit the high development which they have reached In the making of guns and ammunition, and one needs only to see the exhibit to realize bow near to perfection that development has come. There can be seen the new automatic repeating rifle, all kinds of shotguns, the modern smokeless powder shotgun shells and rifle cartridges; in fact, everything that can intercut the devotees of hunting and trap and target shooting.
