The Valma Store Burned.
The general store at Valma, in Barkley Tp, about six miles northeast of Rensselaer, was burmed about two o’olook, last Tuesday morning, with all its contents. It was ocoupied by Wm W. Burns with a general stouk of goods, worth about $1,500, and pretty well insured. The origin of the fire is not known. The building belonged to Mr. Miller. An adjoining building, built for a blacksmith shop, but empty at the time, was also burned. There was nothing saved from the store. In faot it was nearly burned down when the fire was first discovered by T. J. Richardson, who lives across the road. The building was thought to be worth about $300,.
