Enrollment Not Up to Expectation*. Figures compiled by Slate Superintendent F. A, Cotton for 1903 show that the increase in the enrollment of pupils in the schools of Indiana this year was far from being what it should be as compared with the increase in our population. The total number of pupils enrolled this year is 786,638, and in 1903 was 757,436, The increase is 1,202. The increase in 1902 over the preceding year was 2,635.

I Change in Blacksmith Shop. ' The undersigned desires to give notice to all the people of Rensselaer and surrounding country, who may have any work in the genera blacksmithing and horse-shoeing line to be done, that he has bought the interest of his partner Dan Way mire, in the Glazebrook shop on Front street, and will hereafter have sole ownership and management of the same.
