obserVanceJof Flag Day is to become one of the regular features of the ceremonies of the Grand Army of the John C. Black, commander in chief, in a general order has suggested that on Tuesday, June 14, the anniversary of the birth of the flag, all patriotic citizens display flags in their homes and places of business. Chairman O’Brien of the Democratic state central committee has announced a change in the date for holding the nominaing state convention at Indianoplis from July 20 to August 3, and assigns as reasons for the change the fact that many of the Democratic editors of the state intend to participate in the Canadian excursion the latter part of July and that many of the delegates to the sonvention are Elks and will attend the grand lodge session at Cincinnati the third week in July. Under these circumstances it was deemed best to change the date to the first Wednesday in August, when all Democrats can attend.
