Fighting Ohioans.
The history of the Thirty-fourth Ohio infantry Includes account* of several battles which are not generally mentioned in war chronicles. It fought n great deal out of the beaten track of armies, doing much fighting in West Virginia against the guerrilla*. In 1803 ths regiment served as mounted infantry, fighting a* auch at Wytheville, Va., July 18, where CoL John T. Toland was killed.
