Jasper County Is It.
Got The Bulge 0o Lake County, This Time, For Joint Representative. Wanted, a capable all-around statesman to run for joint representative on the Republican ticket. No Lake county men need apply. Since 1897 when Jasper county was taoked on toLake for representatives, Lake having also a whole representative by i’sulf, Lake has been the kite and Jasper the bumble bat useful tail. Hereafter Jas per will do the kite stunt, and Lake osn take the tail end, and look pleasant, Heretofore when a county with a big population bad a representative by itself and r ioint renreseutstive with some other oounty with a smaller population, the big county would send its full delegate strength to the joint convention, thus swamping the small county, and giving it only what it pleased, which generally was the geff in the midriff. Thus in the three j dot conventions Lake and Jasper have held Lake has taken the nominations
twice and given it 13 Janper only onoe. And yet the excess or left Republican vote of Like county is not nearly so large as the total Republican vote of Jasper county. Therefore, by just rights Jasper should have had two and Lake only one of the nominations, But now we will have a oliaaoe to even up matters a little Under the new rule of the Republican ntn'e oommittee, big counties with a representative by themselves and e joint representative with a smaller county, oan only have represent*, tion for their excess vote at the
joint convention. And the way that this rule will work oat this yoar as per the figgures put out by Fred Sims, secretary of the state Republican oommittee, Jasper county will nave ten delegates at the joint conventions, and Lake only seven. Therefore if Jasper oonnty wants the nomination all it has to do is 1 3 unite on some good man and take ir.

The Blood is the Life Thus said one of the greatest physicians of modern times. If the Blood is pure, then the individual is strong and healthy. If tjje , blood is impure, then there is sickness and decay in the whole system. The duty of the Kidneys is to filter the blood, which circulates through them for that purpose, cleansing it from all impurities, worn-out matter and uric acid, collected in its journey from the heart through the system. To purify the blood we must first be sure that the Kidneys are in order. We cannot get pure wat<y from a foul filter, neither can we get pure rich blood from diseased Kidneys. If the Kidneys are out of order, they cannot filter the impurities and uric acid from the blood, resulting in Rheumatism, gout, pain in the back, urinary troubles and kindred diseases. IRVING’S BUCHU WAFERS cure Rheumatism to stay cured, by ( removing the cause. They put the Kidneys in a healthy condition, enabling them to discharge the blood to the heart pure and healthful, with all uric acid, the presence of which in the blood is the cause of Rheumatism aqd all other blood diseases, eliminated. Mr. John Knowlton’s experience, which he relates in a recent letter, is the same as many others who have written in thankfulness for their cure. Mr. Knowlton’s says: •'A* a ■ufferer from chronic Rheumatism for nearly twenty yean, I think I may safely say that I have tried almost a hundred remedies • old women's recipes, physicians’ prescriptions and patent medicines. Many of them relieved me for a time, but the first slight cold brought back the Rheumatism. One day I picked up a circular of Irving’s Buchu Wafers and started to read it. I was not much interested at first, but when I began to read how the kidneys were responsible for Rheumatism, I began to pay stteotion and the common sense statements made such sn impression that I Immediately bought a box. Well. I took the whole box and had no Rheumatism for a month, but a slight cold ( brought it back, but not so bad as previously. This encouraged me, and I bought six boxes. I took them all faithfully, and it is now nine months since I had a twinge of the Rheumatics, so that I feel that I am really cured. After the experience that I had with other so called remedies for Rheumatism, you will understand how glad I am to be able to tes iftr to the merits of Irving’s Buchu Wdiers. They certainly did all that is claimed for them ia my case.** IRVING’S BUCHU WAFERS are nature’s own remedy for the cure of Bright’s Disease, Congestion of the Kidneys, Bladder troubles, Dropsical Swellings, Gout, Gravel, Jaundice, Diabetes, Female Complaints and Irregularities, and are a positive cure for all Diseases and Blood Impurities which are directly or indirectly traceable to deranged action of the Kidneys. They are pleasant to the taste, being sugar coated, and are prepared by the Irving Drug Co., Philadelphia. Price, fifty cents. There are many imitations of the IRVING’S BUCHU WAFERS on the market, but do not be satisfied with anything but the genuine. J. A. Larsh. Druggist.
